1. Acceptance
These Wi-Fi Terms of Service govern your use of wireless networks operated by Sherwood Network, Inc. ("Sherwood," "we," "us") or its venue and carrier partners — including Sherwood hotspots and Sherwood Plus networks (together, the "Networks"). By connecting to a Network, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please disconnect.
2. The Service
We provide Wi-Fi access free of charge or for a fee, depending on the venue, subject to availability. Speeds, coverage, and reliability vary by location and are not guaranteed, and we may change or withdraw the service at any time. Where a Network is provided at a venue such as a café, hotel, or stadium, the venue's own rules apply in addition to these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use the Networks for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Networks for any illegal activity; to infringe copyrights or other rights; to transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited bulk communications; to consume excessive bandwidth in a way that degrades service for others; or to resell or share access without authorization.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You must not attempt to access other users' devices or data, bypass security controls, probe network defenses, or interfere with any network — including the Sherwood Network or reward settlement on the Robinhood Chain. We cooperate with law enforcement and venue operators investigating abuse, and may share device identifiers with them where required.
5. Privacy & Security
To operate the Networks and settle carrier rewards, we log limited session data such as device identifiers, connection duration, and data volume. Open Wi-Fi is not inherently private; use encrypted websites or a VPN for sensitive activity. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or block any device that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Repeated or serious violations may result in a permanent block of the device or the venue network. If access was purchased, fees are not refunded when access is terminated for a violation.
7. Disclaimers & Liability
The Networks are provided "as is," with no warranty of security, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sherwood is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Networks, and our total liability is limited to the greater of $50 or the fees you paid for access.
